The Hive Hotel, Lamai Beach (Koh Samui)

I recently stayed at the resort and while there were some great aspects, I was disappointed overall. The location is fantastic, being so close to the beach, but the ongoing renovations were a huge downside. The rooms were fairly comfortable, and the staff was very polite, yet other elements such as the breakfast options and pool availability left much to be desired. For the price, I expected a quieter environment and fully functioning amenities.

This resort offers a beautiful setting with a stunning beach and an excellent pool area. The rooms are clean and surrounded by gorgeous gardens, but I did notice that some areas could use a little touch-up. The dining options were tasty, especially the breakfast, but could benefit from more variety. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for relaxation and enjoying nature, and I felt welcomed throughout my stay.

Overall, my stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While the location is fantastic, right on the beach and close to numerous bars and restaurants, I found the rooms to be less than ideal, with a musty smell and some cleanliness issues. The dining options left something to be desired, although there were a few positives like the comfortable bed and helpful staff. It's a decent choice, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations for the price we paid.

My stay at the hotel was amazing! The location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach and easily accessible to restaurants and shops. The room was clean and spacious, though it could use a little updating. The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. However, the dining options could be improved as they had limited breakfast choices, but the meals we had were enjoyable nonetheless.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located right on the beach in the heart of Lamai. The atmosphere was really appealing, and the staff, especially Matt, made us feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, though it was a bit small. The infinity pool, while lovely, does close a little early, which was a minor drawback. Overall, I found great value for my stay and look forward to returning!
